加强应用性人才的培养，是“十二五”时期我国教育发展和改革的重要目标之一，也是协调高校教育与市场人才需求关系的重要途径。《外贸单证实务》课程是从事国际贸易、电子商务等工作必须掌握的一门重要的实务课程，也是要求具有很强的英语商务应用能力的课程。本教材正是紧扣应用性国际贸易人才培养的目标而进行编写的。

本教材结合当前国际贸易的实际运作、集合了外贸行业常用的外贸单证，同时，根据编者多年从事《外贸单证实务》教学工作经验以及一定外语水平和外贸专业知识编写而成。本教材以双语形式呈现，以汇票、商业发票、办理运输、保险、检验证书、产地证明书以及报关报验为主线，对整个外贸进出口过程中所涉及的单证的作用、内容、缮制等方面进行详细阐述，重点让学生熟悉外贸单证的缮制和英语表示方式。教材力求结构新颖、案例丰富、方法具体、具有较强的实用性和可操作性。通过学习学生既掌握了缮制外贸单证的技能，又提高了外语应用能力，更好地适应社会对专业+外语的复合型人才和创造型人才的需要。

周锰珍，广西民族大学商学院教授，硕士生导师。主要从事商务英语、外贸英语函电、外贸单证实务（双语）、跨文化经济交流的教学与研究工作。先后在各级学术刊物上发表了20多篇论文，代表作品有《论语境因素与商务文本翻译的择义理据》、《论关联性信息与价值》、《目的论在对外宣传资料翻译中的适用性调查研究》、《认知经济原则与投资指南翻译的信息量调控》等。科研方面：参与了国家课题项目1项；承担省部级以上科研项目9项，地厅级科研项目5项。代表性课题有：国家社会科学基金项目：“体验式英语教学理论和教学”的子课题：体验式英语教学在广西高校的实证（参与）；国家民委项目：中国-东盟贸易区的跨文化商务交际。（08GX02）；广西哲学社会科学“十一五” 规划项目：基于语言经济学的网络信息研究——以中国-东盟自由贸易区为例（06FYY006）；广西民族大学“十一五”规划教材项目：外贸单证实务（双语）等课题。

双语教学是广西民族大学实现教学改革与创新的特点之一，通过双语教学使学生既能掌握专业知识，又能提高外语应用水平。《外贸单证实务》编写和教学有利于提高非英语专业学生的外语水平和专业技术应用的综合能力，适应市场对复合型人才和创造型人才的需要。

本教材突出应用型培养人才的特点，培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力，案例丰富，样例齐全，方法具体，具有较强的实用性和可操作性。本教材适应多媒体资源平台的使用，更体现“学做合一”、“双语教学”的特色。

教材具有全面性和时代感，教材加入了“亚太贸易协定”、“中国—东盟自贸区原产地证书”、“中国－东盟博览会上检验检疫机构对进出境物品展示的指南”等内容，使外贸单证教学内容更全面、更适应现代社会的需要。

本教材的编写基于本科生教育。目前国内大多数的《外贸单证实务》基于高职高专的教学，不能满足高等院校的本科教学需要。因此，本教材可供本科院校的国际贸易、电子商务、市场营销等本科专业以及经贸工作人员的实训用书。
